A 4 minute performance based film originally devised by the Artist Pablo Bronstein, Directed by Laurence Ellis. A condensed ballet choreographed over 4mins, Sketches for Regency Living demonstrates an affinity for how architecture and sculpture intervene in personal identity and inform our movements and social mores. The camera movement was dictated in relation to the path of the dancer as she moves through the space - an architectural intervention piece introduced by Bronstein. Costumes designed by fashion designer Mary Katrantzou. Shot in a single take on 200ft of 16mm negative film stock - 16th October 2011.
